How much coke and Bud Light can they really buy from us? It can't be a large American export market where the argument can be made that their tariffs are killing us.

They are, when they're conducted by pro-Americans negotiating for the country and not for lobbyists. NAFTA for instance was negotiated by a Fruit of the Loom exec, whose company went bankrupt after off-shoring its factories to El Salvador. lol even sweat shop labor didn't help them.

I have seen almost no reputable economists claim a global trade war will be easy to win and be a great benefit to the United States.

That's because they get paid to snivel for whoever is paying them. 'Reputable' is not a term consistent with the economist scam; they're just modern day versions of astrologers and patent medicine show hustlers.

We keep coming back to the fact that trump owns whatever comes next. If it is a golden age, then trump owns that. If it is a serious recession, with high inflation, then trump owns that.

If trumpers really believed in trump, they would be overjoyed with that deal. They would want trump to get credit for the golden age he created. They would be worried we would try to give Biden credit for what happens next.

But I think even trumpers do not really believe in trump. They realize, like the rest of us, that no one wants to be held responsible for what happens next.
