Most? DOGE and Trump have fired less than 10% and most of those were probationary.
Failing to register means it makes charging someone her illegally with a crime easier, and that in turn makes deporting them easier. It will also start to make an accurate headcount of illegals possible and that too will almost certainly drive public opinion against illegal immigrants.
When we have a head count, we can do a thorough cost accounting. Then we can divide the cost among the American Tax Payers...
and everyone will say "My God! That's over a Trillion a year, and expected to last 30 years! My personal share is $150,000! That's my house!"
and the borders will be secured, and the illegals will be deported.
