There obviously are not enough DOCUMENTED immigrants to fill the need for their labor. The "illegals" should not have to be illegal to begin with. There should be a guest worker pass for them to come here every year, work for six months then go back home.

It's irrelevant. Not having enough legal migrants doesn't justify allowing millions upon millions into the country. I never knew people could get more retarded. You should be being studied somewhere on how a person can get more retarded every day.

It IS relevant when the nation's workforce cannot provide enough workers to fill badly needed jobs.

Also, the level of infraction for a first offense, is a misdemeanor. And like subsequent felony level offenses, it has a great amount of leeway in sentencing.

IOW, all this fuss you assholes are creating, is for infractions that the law provides as little as a fine for.

News Flash Yakkity Kooter... agricultural work is not the only "field" (pun intended) in which undocumented immigrants fill needed positions.

The construction industry being one major example.

The hotel and hospitality industry being another.



And even if there are still a coupla few million more undocumented workers attempting to enter the US than there are jobs to fill, that is no excuse to idiotically turn the rest away just because redneck assholes like you hate non-white foreigners.

Actually, it is even more of a compelling reason to create a system in which they can come here, work, pay taxes and lessen the ridiculous burden that chasing them down, housing and deporting them places on our resources.
