The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) has published their yearly report on the cost of government regulation. Biden last year hit a new record with $2.1 trillion in new regulatory costs on the economy and people.
The cost of this nonsense overall, per household is now at $15,788 per year according to CEI. The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) says the figure is $22,962 a year. Either way, government regulations are quite literally eating people out of house and home.
According to the federal government, 10.34 billion manhours went into producing regulatory compliance and the associated paperwork. Since 1976, the federal government has issued 217,565 regulations.
And the worst part of this is the Democrats want to add an unlimited amount more...
