Let It Burn!

New numbers out Wednesday show the U.S. economy shrank by 0.3 per cent in the first quarter of this year — something that hasn’t happened since the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Justin Wolfers, a public policy and economics professor at the University of Michigan, discusses whether this contraction is a sign of a U.S. recession, and what this could spell for Canada.

There have been a lot of them saying that Trump and his tariffs were going to run us into a recession and have been saying it could be a deep one even a depression, We would have to wait and see.

Okay, so some Progressive Leftist economist named Justin Wolfers makes a prediction. So what?

Here's some of his dreck academic work:

Gender and the Dynamics of Economics

He's a darling of the Left and globalists everywhere.

By the fall of this year....and folks you heard it here first, if Trump does not bend the fuckin knee, admit he fucked up...this nation will in fact began to see effects of empty shelves and higher food costs....and our farmers will lay back and get subsidized welfare money, of which they're so ok with.

I'm struggling to understand why nearly half of Americans voted for a Recession/Depression, but here we are. Meanwhile as we face down empty shelves in a couple of weeks DJT is busy defunding NPR and PBS because Cookie Monster is a bigger threat to America than economic disaster.

Ummmm he isn't the only one. We already have had 1 quarter of contraction which means we are 50% of the way there.

Virtually NO economist on the planet thinks Trump's "tariff gambit" is going to result in anything good. We are looking down the barrel to a self-inflicted economic mess.

Still not sure why you voted to have empty shelves and higher prices. Do you have too much money yourself?

Ah, so the rules changed back to pre-Biden did they? How does that work exactly?

When the reality of Trump's tariff hit home, it will be interesting to how the public is going to react.

I certainly don't feel bad for does who voted for Trump, but unfortunately, the others who didn't vote for Trump are also going to feel the pain.

I said on day one, if this motherfucker wins, we're done. Donny dumb as fuck, got NOTHING TO LOSE, NOTHING!!. He's never gonna run again, he's tied up all his GOP bitches, he owns the courts...the man GOT NOTHING TO LOSE AND EVERYTHING TO GAIN.

Economic retraction is what a recession is....the government refusing to declare a recession till it goes on for half a year aside if the government numbers are to be believed the recession has begun.
