A little help here?

I'm stumped.

I'm trying to find out just what the 110th Congress has achieved since the Jackass Party took over in January 2007.

Google says "Your search - accomplishments of Democrat-controlled congress - did not match any documents."

I tried "news". Nothing.

I tried "web". A lot of stories about lower job approval ratings than President Bush's.

Must be a vast right-wing conspiracy!

Can any Democrats tell me what their elected officials have done?

You certainly have an unerring grasp of the obvious.

Yes, unless you are a Democrat member of Congress, you're not in control of Congress.

I asked Democrats to tell me what their elected officials have accomplished.

Can you?

As you said you asked the democrats not me.

but check on the fillibuster record of the republicans in the same time period you are talking of.
You might accidently learn something .

If you're not a Democrat, why did you answer the question?

Do you make a habit of speaking for others?

The majority party in both houses of Congress, who were elected "to effect change" - their slogan, not mine - over a year ago, have accomplished nothing - that you know of.

Sheesh just check on the republican fillibusters during that period dude or bang your head on the toilet bowl, I don't really care.

You need to do better research. They've passed about 6-7 acts, including ethics reform & implementing recommendations of the 9/11 commission, and had about as many acts vetoed by Bush. It's very inaccurate to say they've "done nothing." There are certainly things I wish they would have been more aggressive about, but with a Dem President & larger majorities in both the House & Senate in '09, it should be interesting to see how much more they can accomplish.

Try some other searches; it's really not our job to show you how to google better.

What do we win? What was the point of this thread except to show how poor your internet search skills are?

What a letdown...

I just saw a 20 something get his head bashed in riding a 4 wheeler drunk on the state highway a while ago. Head messed up bad and smelled like a brewery. Didn't even hit anything, just lost it in the road. Almost got ran over though laying in the middle of the road.
Did not know the kid, tha ambulance hauled him away a bit ago.

Seven? That's it?

1. House Page Board Revision Act of 2007, Jan 19, 2007: Passed the House of Representatives by roll call vote. The totals were 416 Ayes, 0 Nays, 18 Present/Not Voting. This bill passed in the Senate by Unanimous Consent. No GOP obstruction here....

2. U.S. Troop Readiness, Veterans' Care, Katrina Recovery, and Iraq Accountability Appropriations Act, 2007, May 10, 2007: This bill passed in the House of Representatives by roll call vote. The totals were 221 Ayes, 205 Nays, 7 Present/Not Voting. This bill passed in the Senate by Voice Vote on May 17, 2007. A record of each representative's position was not kept.

3. Preserving United States Attorney Independence Act of 2007: Mar 20, 2007: Passed the House by 306-114, 12 not voting. This bill passed the Senate by roll call vote. The totals were 94 Ayes, 2 Nays, 4 Present/Not Voting.

The Protect America Act of 2007 has expired.

5. Honest Leadership and Open Government Act: Passed roll in the House on Jul 31, 2007. Motion to suspend the rules and pass the bill, by the Yeas and Nays, 411 - 8. Passed Senate with an amendment by Yea-Nay Vote. 96 - 2.

6. Water Resources Development Act of 2007: Passed the House by the Yeas and Nays 361 - 54. Passed Senate 79 - 14.

7. Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007: Enacted on Dec 19, 2007. Became Public Law No: 110-140.

Maybe that's why Congress' poll numbers are so great....

You always forget those congressional polls include how the people feel about the republicans in office too.

poor kid.

just too damned young to die.

Yep, but maybe not smart enough to keep living.
Drunk on a 4 wheeler riding on the back wheels on a busy state highway....
Yeah I hope he makes it too perhaps he will learn better.

Well, you must have missed the bills vetoed by Bush; try checking that.

Anyway, the original question revolved around your being "stumped" about ANY accomplishments....right? Which pretty much showed how bad you are at searching such things.

Again - do we get anything for showing you? Or is this all we get...a shift in focus, more obfuscation & the usual idiocy?
