I start my day off at least an hour before I have to start getting dressed for work. I have a couple of cups of good dark coffee, read the news, check my email, do a little workout ect.
This morning I started my day reading about PFC Chance Phelps. Not my usual beginning. (glad I still had a napkin from dinner last night)
Wow remind me not to EVER go to a link that Annie posts (joking) What a moving story and what a great man LTC Strobl is. It is indeed very rare for a senior officer to accompany a lower enlisted soldier or marine home. It really shows that no matter how people feel about the war, they do respect and support the fallen soldiers.
