There are several other sherrifs who have put out similar statements. And several states already have Freedom in Firearms Acts as state laws.

The sheriff is emotionally hysterical and jumping the gun considering he didn't know what laws might be passed if any when he wrote his letter. And too, most of Obama's EO don't really seem to pertain to the sheriff's duties per se, such as appointing a new ATF director and strenghting back ground check laws and allowing doctors to ask mental patients if they have access to guns, etc....and I think county sheriffs only uphold state laws, not federal laws, anyway. Oh well, at least he got his fifteen minutes of fame...now if only I could remember his name. lol
