Can anyone fill me in on what the big difference is between King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia and Hugo Chavez of Venezuela such that Chavez is considered a monster and Abdullah is Bush's kissing buddy, other than the fact that Chavez was elected?

For the life of me I don't get it.

I've never seen anybody call Chavez a monster on this site other than Dems exaggerating.
 
Abdullah is an authoritarian dictator, who kisses bush and holds his hand.

Chavez is a democratically elected leader, who calls bush "the devil". Which is offensive to bush lovers, both those who are public about their devotion to bush, and those who keep their devotion to bush in the closet.

It's as simple as that.
 
Ummm, Bush is a dumbass, so I don't really care for his 'friends'. I think your question would be better addressed to Dano.
