Alito No Longer Tries to Hide His Theocratic Worldview

For a long time, Alito seemed like an outlier on the court, lobbing his sour, grievance-filled dissents from the sidelines. He is now ascendant, writing the lead opinion in the decision striking down the right to abortion and many other precedent-breaking rulings. He is also in good company in the upper reaches of government.

Recall that House Speaker Mike Johnson, an evangelical Christian, told an interviewer after he got the job, “Go pick up a Bible off your shelf and read it. That’s my worldview.”

Christian fascism.

he is not being any more open - some moron went to a private dinner and asked him stuff in private

omg - he is a person with his own thoughts and feelings. scandal

derp derp derp derp

how you libtards think this has legs speaks volumes about how dumb you all are

You can have your "own thoughts and feelings", but if those "thoughts and feelings" are antithetical to American values you should not be on the SC.

A simple contrast of how Roberts answered the same questions demonstrates a more neutral jurist, which is what you need to be on the bench.

How is it Fascism halfwit? He sent it back to the States for them to decide. After all, we are a Republic of States with States rights and not a democracy like you loons on the left constantly bloviate.

Fascism was how Roe v Wade was originally decided by nine individuals in black robes rather than through legilsatures.

Leftist Biden supporters are the dumbest people on the planet.

I have no problem with a SCOTUS judge and their religious beliefs UNTIL they allow it to interfere with their rulings

Amy Barrett, for instance, lied about Roe being “settled law” when quizzed in her confirmation hearing. Then, let her religion interfere with a 180° turnaround on that “settled law”. Alito, and especially his whackadoodle wife, seem not far behind.

At least Roberts stayed the course.

Trump has turned every branch of government into a crisis.
