We're gluttons for infographics, and a team at Kansas State just served up a feast: maps of sin created by plotting per-capita stats on things like theft (envy) and STDs (lust). Christian clergy, likely noting the Bible Belt's status as Wrath Central, question the "science." Valid point—or maybe it's just the pride talking.

Preachers perhaps sin more than any other profession, aside from those whose profession is sin of course :)
 
Mississippi is actually pretty low by most measures on this scale. The only thing it scores high on are STD's and, bizarrely, pride (which is supposed to be a total of all other sins, so it doesn't really make sense for MS to stick out in only one category and be all the way up in purple on the composite score).
