Appeasers not needed

According to Democrats, America's "image" in the world has never been worse.

It's going to get a lot worse, if Barack can't win in November.

You see, right now, they're anticipating (and perhaps funding) a 'Crat landslide in our upcoming election. They think a dominant Jackass Party would be good for them, and they're right.

Nuclear Iran and nuclear North Korea are going to be very disappointed if Obama loses.

Abu Ayman, who belongs to the Islamic Jihad terror group (Michael Moore calls 'em "Freedom Fighters") has stated "We saw in Iraq this month how Allah helped the mujahedeen fighters to mark a great victory, a victory that brought the Americans to speak for the first time seriously and sincerely that Iraq is becoming a new Vietnam and that they should fix a schedule for their withdrawal from Iraq."

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said "Many who are dissapointed in the struggle between the Islamic world and the infidels say it is not possible to have a world without the United States and Zionism. But you know that this is a possible goal and slogan."

What would Obama say to mitigate the hatred evident in such men's positions?

We need statesmen, not appeasers.

Can't tell the difference? Winston Churchill (statesman) is supposed to have defined an appeaser as "one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last."

Appeasers (Neville Chamberlain) want to engage in endless "talks" (Munich) for the sake of maintaining an illusion of "peace".

Diplomacy preserves our nation's security. A statesman (Ronald Reagan) leaves the table (Reykjavik) when viable compromises are not forthcoming.

Right, that is what they are saying, but look anywhere, the 'Conservatives' are winning. UK, FR, GR, SP, IT. No contest, except in US, where we rule, but follow. It sucks, but then again, look at the past 7.5 years-that really sucks.

The Conservative party in the UK is left of the Democratic party in the US. And the Labour party, for that matter. They are going to be elected because they opposed the war that Labour supported.

And the socialist party won in Spain.

And the ruling 'conservatives' in Italy were not ELECTED to that post, they assembled a new cabinet from dissenting liberal parties.

Right, thanks for enlightening the ignorant. Your point regarding the elections here?

The appeasement party won in Spain...and Labour's imminent demise may have a lot to do with being in charge for more than a decade with little to show for it.
