As Donald Trump ignores deepening coronavirus crisis, Joe Biden calls for urgent response

In an interview with NPR's Mary Louise Kelly, Woodward comes to the conclusion that the president failed to protect the country from the virus and is "the wrong man for the job." (Duh?)

Joe Biden has spent these early days as President-elect pleading with Americans to pay attention to the relentless surge of Covid-19 -- with deaths averaging more than 1,000 a day in the past week -- as President Donald Trump continues to ignore the deepening crisis and touts the promises of yet-to-be-approved vaccines as his panacea.

The continuing power struggle between two men with diametrically different philosophies on how the US should handle the virus has left the nation rudderless at this critical moment -- forced by Trump into a governing crisis as he refuses to let the transition to the Biden presidency proceed and pass on knowledge that could be critical to slowing the spread of the virus next year.

Bawahahaha, I laugh, but then like all good political cartoons it makes you think and it makes me sad because so many people are suffering because of him and his ignoring this virus.
 
Oh, it gets even worse. Yesterday our governor issued emergency new restrictions. She was joined at the presser by the head of our state health department and medical director, both of whom were choking back tears as they talked about the necessity for the new orders. It was terrifying.

Even more terrifying? This morning #COVID45's moron pet toady "doctor" who has zero knowledge of infectious diseases instructed Michigan residents to "rise up" and refuse to obey.
