Can anyone define the term assault weapon?

A baseball bat used to hit a victim , is that an assault weapon?

I'm guessing you are trying to break down the difference between an Assault Rifle and a regular Rifle...........I'll bite..

Assault Rifles were manufactured for military use. They are designed to kill humans fast and efficiently. They are more light weight than regular rifles. They have smaller bullets to help with the weight. They have the option of high capacity magazines. Recently they started modifying these guns for civilian use and they are deemed "Modified Assault Rifles". Same gun, just take away the fully auto option which really isn't hard to do yourself.

Anyone who tries to say they don't know this is a justification troll trying to bend facts to their favor. But the problem with this is, they will win this argument. Gun manufacturers are making guns now that are a morph of the two former guns.

Everyone knows what a modified assault rifle is, if they say they don't they are full of it. But if law tries to define the difference....they are in for a suprise.
