Banning gun magazines pointless. 3D printing already able to make them.

Improperly constructing a bomb can kill you and everyone around you. A magazine does nothing. Not the same thing.
 
Materials used to make bombs can be controlled. The material used to create this mag cannot.

What is the cost of a 3d printer that can make these? They are still fairly expensive. They will eventually come down and once they do the ban would likely be useless, unless you are willing to go to much greater lengths to enforce it.

The bad guys will get them via Chinese smuggling, or the parts will be sold separately, a spring here, and an extention there, and end cap there, so that a 10 round mag, will be lengthened, then there will be a very long spring, which could be shortened as needed, by cutting off what you need, easy to do. Someone like a Bill Ayers would figure it out.

How much do the mags cost to make?


And it is still illegal as it is manufacturing them if they are banned.

did you read the part where the group is waiting on a liscence to manufacture?
why will this be any different from any other gun manufacturer?
