GREENWICH, Connecticut, June 3 (Reuters) - President Joe Biden on Monday called former President Donald Trump a "convicted felon" who is seeking the office of the presidency for the first time in American history.
"For the first time in American history a former president that is a convicted felon is now seeking the office of the presidency," Biden told a small group of donors during a fundraiser in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Yes, it is petty to call your opponent a convicted felon. You should concentrate on your own merits--something Biden has none of--to get people to vote for you. Right now, Biden is the least popular, least successful, and most reviled President since polling started. That's his problem, yet he is running against a candidate that any reasonably competent President in office would handily beat and all he has to counter that is negative campaign slurs against his opponent.

That makes Biden look utterly weak and petty.
