A live vdieo-clip of Biden speaking at NATO on the 10th has gone viral. It shows him dropping a gaffe that is a shocker even by his standards.
The video-clip begins showing Biden mumbling something incomprehensible, then saying...
"Mr Secretary - (referencing NATO's Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, who is standing next to him on stage) - you've guided this alliance through one of the most consequential periods. I realize - AS I WAS FUCKING YOUR WIFE - I personally asked you to extend your service. Forgive me."
Biden then mumbles something else indecipherable.
It seems as though he intended to say: "As I was TALKING to your wife."
