I think there are two possibilities on this story. Either its a hoax (very likely), or someone actually found the carcass of a sasquatch and are trying to control the info until they get the chance to document it better.
As for it being in north Georgia, that doesn't make much sense to me either. While there are some remote and uninhabited areas there, its nothing like the Pacific Northwest as far as square miles of wilderness. Its quite possible that these two found the carcass elsewhere to avoid loading the woods up with tourists.
I guess we will wait until friday to see what the news conference tells us. With modern forensic techniques, it shouldn't be hard to determine if its a hoax or real.
