Yea no shit man. That was heart breaking. Philly Brown was having a great game but that flubbed punt return with Clemson punting deep in their own territory turned into a 14 point turn around. This bowl season further highlights why there should be no rankings until at least the fifth or sixth week of the season. All the preconceived rankings based on what the team did 'last year' plus the addition of 'incoming freshman/transfers' is nonsense. The SEC was not nearly as tough this year as it was a few years ago. Yet they still consistently got 42 teams in the top ten. Yes, it is that ridiculous.

Congrats to the Sooners for putting Saban and the Tide in their place.

I always like to see sports victories coming out of the plains. All of that mythology about how OK/NE/KS represent American values is quite easy to be swept up in. I only root against the Thunder.
