Bush, lowest rating ever...

Since the time when polls were taken, Bush now has the lowest rating of any sitting President. 71% disapprove.

My theory is, this is because it is no longer a death knell in the R Party to say, "Bush stinks and we did ourselves harm following him"...

Actually...I think Truman had comparable ratings in his last year in office.

Nixon had even lower rating....and that's fitting....he was a schmuck. Interestingly, of the modern Presidents, Clinton had the highest approval rating in his last year of office. He even out scored Reagan.

I think Bush has Nixon beat as far as the lowest rating.
