gasoline prices in the southeast have risen to +/- $0.50 $5 per gallon due to PROJECTED gas shortages

gouge - ouch

if you don't like capitalism, move to cuba... please.

capitalism sucks as does democracy as does socialism

representative democracy under a good constitution is the best that this world has come up with so far

a constitutional monarchy where the monarch only has the power to veto legislation may be best

neither the radical left nor the radical right is correct and neither represents mainstream thought

what we need with our freedom is responsibility but this seems to have gone out of fashion

He blaims capatolism--the reason he owns anything.

One thing about capatolism---the price has a chance of going down, and will.

You have to be UNAmerican not to believe in capatiolism--and he is.

There is only one thing wrong with capatolism, and it is not part of capatolism. Corruption and government intervention (weather it be a pat on the back to companies, or a total buy out of a private entity).

Your elected officials get in the way.

Are you denying that supply is interrupted by the storm? Price increases cause consumers to use less and attracts new supplies to the market. Trying to prevent this "gouging" will only ensure shortages.

It is simply the law of supply and demand. they have the supply and can demand what the want within reason from an addicted America.

also I think the media played a part in this pumping public hysteria about a shortage and causing a run on gas stations. Media driven by speculators money ? I dunno ...
