MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN
As of June, of this year, there have been 16,290 deaths caused by automobiles.

Is it time that we placed a restriction on how fast fuel powered vehicles should be able to go?

Why does any car, outside of a controlled race track, have a need to go 80, 90, 100, 110, or 120 miles per hour?

Should we have a recall on all vehicles and forced modifications be made, that will never allow the vehicle to travel over 75 mph. This will allow cars to still travel at highway speeds; but no faster.
Installing the old style goveners won't work; because those have been tried on commercial vehicles and they can be disabled.
Then make it illegal for any car to be made in the US or imported into the US, that can go faster then 75 mph.

Vehicles should be made to be able to go from point A to point B and not just so they can see how fast this can occur.

Why 75mph? I think 45 mph should be the speed limit and not allow cars to go faster. Same with all trucks and of course Obama's car
 
It has also been shown that one of the leading causes of car accidents is a distracted driver. Why do we allow car stereos, cell phone connections and other potential distractions to be installed in vehicles. Perhaps we should work on isolating the driver more.

I agree. And there is nothing more distracting than having another person in the car. In fact studies show that the distraction of a driver increases 100 fold for every added person in the car.

So in that vain,we should ban the following.
1) car radios
2) cell phones
3) makeup
4) nose picking
5) no more than one person per vehicle

If we can only save one life with these common sense measures, it will be worth it

Vain is how you feel about yourself.
vein is the word you would have used if you were not so vain already.

I fully agree; plus add in the fuel savings, now that the cars are limited in speed and how many are in them.
They can be made much smaller.
 
Automobile fatalities occur because of a failure to use the car properly.

Mass murders occur when a military weapon functions perfectly.
 
Some of those drivers are drunk, lets bring legislation ending alcohol consumption for all licensed drivers

Actually they occur because the human brain malfunctions or because liberal ideas created a monster.
 
Liberales seem to be scared of this; because this might just INFRINGE on a something they like being part of.
The Car culture and they have no problem with the THOUSANDS of deaths that cars cause, every year.
