I caught this bad boy last fall on Lake Ontario. 27.5 lbs. think I’ll be doing this again.

Danged tasty too. I also caught a 12 lb Coho and an 8lb Brown Trout. I had the filet the Salmon but clean and scale the trout.

I roasted the trout with a crab meat stuffing. It would knock your socks off!

What’s odd is that Great Lakes King Salmon has a far lighter color than Alaska Kings but you couldn’t tell the difference between a Great Lakes Coho and a Pacific Coast Coho.

Have you ever fished in Superior? They say that the reefs around Stannard Rock harbor some monsters. The pics on the various charters' websites sure look like it. Super expensive to get out there, but one of these days...
