Clinton trying to disenfranchise voters

Not that I'm surprised or anything.

"Next up for the Democrats were precinct caucuses Saturday in Nevada. There, Clinton's supporters awaited a court ruling on a lawsuit seeking a last-minute change in rules they agreed to months ago. Their objective was to prevent several caucuses along the Las Vegas Strip, where thousands of Culinary Workers Union employees — many of them Hispanic or black — hold jobs.

The rules were approved in March, when the former first lady was the overwhelming national front-runner in the race. But the union voted last week to endorse Obama, and the lawsuit followed."

Obama FTW!!

The clinton's are anti-labor. They're not for "the people". they're elitist globalists fascistocrats, who believe in equal opportunity oppression, just like the neospawns.

Desh has been fairly bipartisan in her criticism of voter disenfranchisement & tampering.
Yeah, but Darla is the big Caging complaintant. Lately she has been all aboard the Clinton train. I wonder if this might derail that train.

I think Desh will be here for this one.... Especially in her own state.

this is another testimant to how corrupt to the core this candidate is. How can anyone possibly give her the benefit of the doubt on the stock cheat or whitewater or any of her other shaddy dealings when she plays in the sandbox like this.

Obama is the only hope here now.

She has been swayed against doing anything considered "populist". Her controllers explained how there are some populist white males and how that ruins the movement. So now she's a fascist like everyone else. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Dems don't cage.... that is only the Reps that try that crap. The Dems are saints. Don't you know that by now?

It's not caging.

The caucuses are to be held at 1,754 locations -- but nine have drawn particular attention. The state party has identified nine "at-large precincts" at Las Vegas Boulevard hotels: Bellagio, Luxor, Mirage, Rio, Caesars Palace, Paris, Flamingo, Wynn Las Vegas and New York New York.

The idea is that hotel/casino employees can make a choice for president without leaving work. But the Nevada Education Association and several plaintiffs, one a prominent Clinton supporter, have sued in federal court to stop the casino caucuses. They claim at-large precinct delegates will pack the county convention and that the plan violates the equal-protection clause of the U.S. Constitution.

I frankly don't know what to make of this without more information.

This has nothing to do with caging voters. The suit doesn't seek to disenfranchise anyone. All it seeks to do is force people to vote in the Caucus in the precinct that their residence is located. Granted this move is designed to hurt turnout but no one is being told they can't vote, or having their voter registration challenged. They are just being told to vote in their home precinct.

if it doesn't benefit hillary she will fight to change it. if it does benefit Hillary she will fight to preserve it. what a politician. Clinton's are masters of this game.

LOL. The questions were rhetorical. Supposedly only the GOP seeks to lower turnout. But it appears that is a myth perpetrated by those who want to promote their own party as more "moral".

This is a case where they seek to change rules agreed to previously. That is sad.

IT is sad and I just watched an interview with a Dem party rep from NV who said that until last Friday there was NO objection to the at large delagates. So it does appear that the ONLY reason they are challenging these is force food and service workers to go to the polls and wait in line and maybe not get to vote because they have to get back to work. I bet the vote would have gone as planned if Hillary had gotten the endorsement

D'oh! Where be Desh? Where be the "caging" complaints...

I think its a completely slimey thing for them to do.

I live in vegas and they are using this transparent excuse that if teachers cant caucus at their own schools then the hotel workers cant caucus at the hotels.

It is utterly dispicable.

I hope I am not going to have to vote for Clinton but I may have no choice.
I have already told every one of her door knockers and phone callers that I am going to caucus for everyone but Clinton because she is part of the problem.

That is a weak excuse, it isn't like the caucus is held during class time as it is during the casino worker's work time.

I dont know , I also hope so.

She has hurt herself bad in Nevada with this one I think. Our caucus is not counted by machines.
