David Martin the criminal in this case has a long history of violent crimes, which have all been plead down to misdemeanors, because he is a connected white man in a Republican controlled area.
He attacked a woman(Teresa McBride) in the back, while she was walking away from him. He calls himself a family values conservative, and attacked a woman. McBride had nothing to do with the toilet backing up, but had said that Martin would have to get the carpet professionally cleaned after the toilet had spilled out onto it.
McBride saying something that Martin did not like angered him so much he began to threaten to murder her. When she walked away from the lunatic, he followed her out into the parking lot, and attacked her from behind. Luckily, she was able to start running and get away from him.
Martin's chances to win the primary were questionable, but he has moved into the lead now that Republicans have seen he is a violent criminal.
