Connecticut a swing state???

What poll are you looking at? The June 2 Rasmussen?

The most recent July 2 Quinnipiac poll has Obama up 56 to 35, so no, CT is not a swing state.

And funniest of all is that Lieberman on the ticket actually hurts McCain. From the poll:

If McCain picks Sen. Joseph Lieberman as his running mate, only 14 percent of Connecticut voters say they are more likely to vote Republican, while 32 percent are less likely and 52 percent say it won't affect their vote.

last poll had obama up by double digits but generally its been close... dont worry we will send plenty of voters from MA. they are organizing buses from the Boston common and public park.

I think NH's numbers are a good indication of how independents will go nationally this time around.
 
nobody in the middle wants mccain. hes been great in the past and is a fine american but hes Running on bush policies and not his moderate policies of the past.. On the flip side obama is running on a more moderate platform and moved away from his left past.

Dude, don't pay attention to polls in July. They go up and down all the time. A month ago, McCain was ahead of Obama & Clinton in New York! And a few months ago Obama was 1 point behind McCain in Texas!
