The second state to do so, following Mass.

"Constitutional amendments to ban gay marriage also passed last week in Arizona and Florida, and Arkansas voters approved a measure banning unmarried couples from serving as adoptive or foster parents.

holla back yo!!!!!

State Rep. and co-chairman of the Connecticut General Assembly's Judiciary Committee, Mike Lawlor, lectured at the University of New Haven Tuesday night on the subject. He said it's obvious when he speaks about the issue in front of a classroom that people's attitudes are changing.

"I think that speaks a lot about us as a state -- we are open-minded. We embrace and show happy couples should have advantages. Now gay people will share what straight people have enjoyed for many, many years," he said.

I think it really has to do a lot with education levels as to if they support this type of change. I think that's why it failed in California.

its good news for sure... I just don't have any ambition to date or get married but its good to have the option. i'm just not really into it.

find a regular and settle down. what are you 33 now?

just 30, but im not really into dating, or anything. I really like being alone and single doing what i want hanging out with the friends i got.

It's just not a priority for me right now.
