The thought of Obama running an ad featuring Ann Coulter seems quite ironic. The idea of many Republicans not thinking McCain a 'true Republican' can't be new to you is it?

So it isn't that the Republican Party is behind McCain? More "The Enemy of my Enemy is my friend"?

I thought it was pretty obvious the RR had their doubts about McCain. That's not new. The selection of Palin really seemed to help McCain in that regard. I think embracing the tax cuts and anti-pork positions has endeared him more to the economic libertarians of the party.
