Leprosy vs covid. Leviticus was written somewhere near 6 centuries before Christ. They also thought leprosy was the result of sinful behavior not a medical condition. Don't want covid? Stay the fuck home.

Nowadays we can cure leprosy. No need for this.

Interestingly, this is the same as Kosher.. you know "unclean" pork, if you have milk and meat together you are "unclean", if you wear mixed cloths made of two materials you are "unclean"... and these cleansing rules were a sign that the Jewish folks were keeping the Covenant with God... These went by the wayside with the New Covenant spoken about in the New Testament. Orthodox Jews should be doing this if they get leprosy, but Christians do not have this requirement due to the New Covenant where they are cleansed by the "blood of the Lamb" (Jesus). So, if you ignore the New Testament and the New Covenant, then you would follow this. But you would not be a Christian, well you could be as some types of Christians still also celebrate the Jewish holidays and keep Kosher, but they don't have to... not to be a Christian.
