Daily Show brutally roasts VP

We had a column in our local paper (SF Chronicle) and it was written by a teacher from New York. This teacher claimed that because the fate of democracy in America, and really the safety of our world, is at stake in this election shows like SNL should not satirize or mock President Biden (or by extension Harris).

So in this environment it's pretty shocking imo to see the Daily Show do even something like this.

What's happening is the Left has overplayed their hand, and for those in media who aren't truly on the Left they see a feeding frenzy starting where it's open season on Biden now for all the half-assed insanity and gibberish he delivers.

In truth, the mainstream media has talked about Biden's slippage. They do not talk about Trump'ss plummeting. They should have run Trumps Revolutionary water mental boondoggle and the Gettysburg mess on all their programs. They did not.

It's a pretty eye opening claim to argue the media doesn't cover Trump enough. (And that's not even getting into all the late night talk show hosts and shows like SNL that live to do segments on Trump.) But after 4 years of a Trump presidency and then 4 years where people almost focused more on him than Biden - that somehow people don't really know who Trump is and the media hasn't done their job exposing him?

That's someone living in a bubble (putting it kindly).
