The one silver lining about all of this (aside from reports that Ortiz is in stable condition) is that the shooter got beat-down by a crowd. Probably not a good idea to shoot an MLB icon in public in Dominica. They tend to like their baseball down there. Anyway, I hope the shooter was sufficiently wrecked.
