Democrat histrionics do nothing but divide
New York Democratic Rep. Ritchie Torres took to national news and told CNN host Wolf Blitzer that President Donald Trump has set such a “dangerous precedent” with his border control and deportation policies that he’s a short hop away from “abducting” “in the dead of night” any American citizens he wants, “wrongfully labeling” them illegals and gang members, then “rendering them to a foreign prison to be tortured.”Come on now. Torres himself doesn’t even believe that. The Democrat Party’s penchant for hysterics and histrionics to make political points has to stop.
It not only makes Democrats appear stupid — stupider than stupid.
It also tears apart the nation. And isn’t America already torn apart enough as it is?
Torres, on a bill he’s introducing to require the United States to force other nations to return individuals who were mistakenly deported, said this, Breitbart reported: “I’m skeptical that we will have Republican support because the Republican Party is fully captive to Donald Trump. But of all the abuses of Donald Trump’s presidency, there is no greater threat to liberty than his complete contempt for due process. You know, without due process, what stops Donald Trump from wrongfully labeling any American as a non-citizen gang member and abducting them in the dead of night and rendering them to a foreign prison to be tortured?”
Umm.
How about — sanity?
