Senator Mark Warner of Virginia, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, criticized both Mr. Hegseth and Mr. Waltz during a hearing on Tuesday, where he said that others who had discussed sensitive defense information in an unclassified chat would most likely have been fired. He went further on social media.

“When the stakes are this high, incompetence is not an option,” he wrote in a post on social media. “Pete Hegseth should resign. Mike Waltz should resign.”

In truth, they should not have been nominated by Daffy Donald. They are incompetent and unqualified. It took them a short time to prove that.

They won't get it. Like the Orange Jesus himself, no Cabinet member in the Party of Trump will take responsibility for the lapse of OpSec and resign.

That said, watching various Republican reps backpedal on this, obfuscate, sidestep, use whataboutism or otherwise dodging this egregious breach of security is interesting to watch.

Trump has no plans to ban the use of an unsecure app on private phones for national security issues.

They are the greatest bunch of patriots ever assembled by a president in the history of our country.

Sorry you hate America

I think Goldberg should turn everything over to the Republicans and the Democrats on the proper committees. Let them decide if it was classified information.

I believe it was and according to the standards set by Republicans for Hillary, these people should lose their jobs and be prosecuted!

The Hildabeast was never prosecuted.

The Secretary of Defense says classified information was not discussed.

Ya esta.

Classified or not, war plans. Idiot move. Intentionally shared.
No, pay attention…The Secretary of Defense says classified information was not discussed.

War plans are classified information and no classified information was discussed.

The secretary of defense lies.

:rofl2: It was NOT classified information. In fact, the whole thing turned out to be a HUGE nothingburger. Goldberg has now published it all here for you to read for yourself.
I believe it was
It was NOT. There's nothing special in there. You can now read it all for yourself (see above).

For WHAT? No national security risk... no classified info... nothing special was said. You can now read it all for yourself. It smells like CIA corruption to me, trying to create a scandal because they hate Trump's Ukraine and Russia policies. Unfortunately for them, this one is quickly fizzling out.
