Sort of realized something with the discussions over Foley which is that Dems really don't care about lying.
Even in court, looking back not just at Clinton but other Dem reps in trouble, they have no problem lying right to courts.
I mean you ask a Dem rep to put their hand on the bible (which they really couldn't care less for anyway) and ask them to tell the truth, well why would they?

Foley, piece of shit that he is, at least didn't lie.
 
Did Foley lie about his alcoholism ?
There seems to be a question on that.
I don't really know for sure, but some question it.

Hmmm, yeah I was taught the same thing. But I still got in a hell of a lot more trouble for lying when I was caught.

And lying to a court? You don't think your Dad would have thought even worse of you for that?

Lying under oath is wrong. Did you feel that way with Scooter Libby's lies before the Grand Jury, under oath of God?
 
clinton commuted his sentence, he spent the rest of his sentence in a halfway house...

These charges resulted in an additional sentence of 78 months in federal prison. Reynolds served all of his first sentence and served forty-two months in prison for the later charges. At that point, U.S. President Bill Clinton commuted the sentence for bank fraud. As a result, Reynolds was released from prison and served the remaining time in a half way house. [1][2]
