All sorts of things happened.
The eleven hour waiting lines to vote happened almost exclusively in Democratic preciencts. The machines were alotted by a republican who held the election office at the time. The person gave fewer machines to areas who had increases in voter registration which showed they obviously needed more than the last election not fewer. Machines sat in wherehouses while people stood in the rain and cold for 11 hours to vote. That is just one issue.
