Donald Trump urges the nation to not let ‘evil win’ and ‘fear not’ after shooting

Trump, 78, was holding a rally in Butler, Penn. when a sniper unloaded up to eight rounds, leaving the former president bloodied up at his ear, killing at least one spectator and injuring two others.

“Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers yesterday, as it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening. We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

“In this moment, it is more important than ever that we stand United, and show our True Character as Americans, remaining Strong and Determined, and not allowing Evil to Win. I truly love our Country.”

Trump stressed that “our love goes out to the other victims and their families.” His team has set up a fundraiser for the victims.
