The biggest winners are China's giants, which have expanded on the back of a strong domestic economy and recovering capital markets rather than by acquisition. China International Capital and Citic Securities make nearly all their money in China. Meanwhile, China's domestically focused retail banks, led by Industrial & Commercial Bank of China, end the decade among the world's largest by market capitalization.
