So though there are serious questions about an anthropegenic cause to global warming, what about other evidence of an anthropegenic cause/effect on climactic change?

What about the impact of deforestation on dessertification, for example?

I have to wonder about all the heat we generate burining fossil fuels.
The megawatts of electricity generate heat in manufacture, transmission and end useage.

AC generates more heat than cold.

Not making any claims, just speculating that it could contribute to climate change in some small way. And once added to deforestation, Co2 generation, etc.....

I have no doubt we affect albedo and that CO2 forcing from anthropogenic sources has some effect, but I'm been trying to argue that many natural forcings have been assumed to have been caused by anthropogenic cO2.

That goes with out saying. Acid rain is another critical anthropogenic climate issue that has been pretty well addressed by the CAA of the 1990's.

And though no one would argue the contribution human industry had on NOx, SOx and CO2 emmissions towards the problem, the Mt. Pinatumbo eruption in the Philippines in 1994 emitted more SOx in one blast then the entire worlds industrial output that year. The point being natural factors, like Pinatumbo, can dwarf human factors. Though this is certainly no reason to ignore human contributions to pollution.

Don't get to carried away. Keep in mind that there are a substantial number of peer reviewed articles supporting anthropogenic warming.

As a professional environmentalist this is one environmental issue that I ussually refrain from posting on as it's outside my area of expertise.

I can live with out the name calling, though when coming from a someone so talented at the art of "Ranting", like Dixie, it can have a certain charm to it.

I can also do with out the loaded statement, cut and paste, grenade tossers like irreputable.

Last thing I want to see here is a mutual admiration society but some civility is in order.
