Now the hype is dwindling, and companies are again cheering consumer choice. Automakers from Ford Motor and General Motors to Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen
, Jaguar Land Rover and Aston Martin are scaling back or delaying their electric vehicle plans.

That the Regime has resisted going the last step of forcing EV's on us is something to notice....it indicates to me that they are very aware that the tech is not ready.
 
Ford sent a memo to its electric-vehicle parts suppliers this week asking them to help come up with ways to cut EV manufacturing costs.

In the "call to action" memo, first reported by Crain's Detroit Business, Ford asked its suppliers to work with the company on cost-cutting measures that can bring about much-needed affordability in the electric-vehicle market.
