The attorney representing Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston in a sexual battery investigation, met this morning with state attorney Willie Meggs "to try to speed the process up."
Attorney Tim Jansen said uncertainty over whether the investigation will lead to criminal charges is "unfairly affecting Winstons' reputation". He added the delay might have an impact on the school's chances of winning the BCS National Championship and Winstons' chances of winning the Heisman.
