I would have to agree with him. But, on that case, he got the best justice money could buy.
 
The biggest mistake of the first trial was moving it to downtown LA. People on the Jury Panel lived in the Rampart district where a few years later it was discovered that cops were planting evidence and even murdering people and then putting throw down weapons on them. Had the case stayed in the court that was in the brentwood area he would have been convicted and be in prison now.
 
The biggest mistake was having him try to put the glove on.

They should have purchased a New BM Glove for him to try on and not one shrunken and crusted with blood.
