One of the greatest campaign stories I have ever heard was from her first run for governor of TX... the campaigh she won.

The opponant said she was for gun controll and would take your guns away... At the time she was on a whistle stop train tour of Texas... She called her husband and had him drive her extensive gun collection to the next stop where she proudly displayed her guns to the crowd and television cameras!
