Fox Business reporter says it’s the ‘White House who capitulated’ on tariffs: ‘Let’s be clear’

While MAGA world treated Donald Trump’s sudden about-face on his “Liberation Day” tariffs as a masterful gambit and proof of the president’s “Art of the Deal” prowess, Fox Business correspondent Charles Gasparino injected a dose of reality on Wednesday.

“Let’s be clear,” Gasparino noted just moments after the 90-day pause on most of the president's so-called “reciprocal” tariffs was announced. “It is the White House who capitulated.”

Gasparino, however, pointed out that the president backed down when push came to shove – even though Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent boldly claimed that this three-month pause was the president’s plan all along.

Like your article said, trump was afraid about the bond market. Yet this incredibly stupid idiot stated that all the countries affected by tariffs were lining up to kiss his oversized, flabby arse. He disgusts me so much I could hurl.

Calls to top White House advisors from key business community allies also increasingly focused on the troubling developments in the bond market as they made the case for Trump to pull back."

China saw this coming years ago, and has been getting ready.

They will not fold or collapse anytime soon.

All they are going to do is increase their tariffs on US goods so high their people can't buy them and just pass on US Tariffs to the US consumers.
They are NOT the ones that will be paying the Tariffs Trump is putting on the good they sell us, it IS the US CONSUMER that will be paying them.
The shit show has ONLY BEGUN .

China has an economy more well rounded than we do, America is only 15% of China's exports, and since the rest of the world is mostly not tariffed getting around the China tariffs can be done.....for instance by sending stuff to Vietnam before its goes to America.

China has Russia and Iran to teach them about this sort of thing.
