We fight, We win
“Imagine knowing your viewers are so dumb that you can lie to them about the price of a turkey in an attempt to hurt Joe Biden after they just bought a butterball for $15,” political strategist Adam Parkhomenko wrote on X.

We went to go buy a turkey today, it was $90 for a turkey!" Chaffetz, who previously served as the U.S. Representative for Utah’s 3rd Congressional District, said. "The price of stamps is up 32 percent in the last four years. But it's all a choice by Joe Biden, that's what Bidenomics is!"

However, as Newsweek reported, social media users were quick to point out that, according to numbers from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, turkey prices had actually dropped this year — and it was more likely that Chaffetz had either simply overpaid or purchased a premium product. “Turkey costs per pound fell to $1.25 in September 2023, down 43 cents from a year earlier, according to the most recent data available from the U.S. Department of Agriculture,” wrote former Fox News contributor Bill Kristol on X, formerly Twitter. “Unless the turkey he bought was 70 pounds, this turkey overpaid for his turkey.”

Turkey was $0.59 a pound which is cheaper than usual.

the problem is Trump Magats ARE THAT DUMB, which is why everyone is now doing to them, what Trump does to them, and that is to fleece them of their cash.

This guy seeing a Magat coming up to the counter with a Turkey almost certainly just told him at the cash register that the much lower price on the turkey was not in fact, the price. He said to him 'do not believe what you see or hear... that Turkey actually costs $90.

And he was so stupid he paid it. And then blamed Biden.

This is the typical Fox News propagating dis-information, of which Fox is well known for doing.

Or he just flat out lied about the price. Since this was on Fox, that's the most likely scenario. What an insult to their viewers. Which they're used to by now. If they had any intelligence that could be insulted, they wouldn't be watching that nonsense.

Meijer (large regional chain) has had their brand of turkeys on sale for the last two weeks for 59 cents/lb. Name brands like Butterball are $1.29/lb. Unlike Fox, I show my work:

It was so cheap Mom couldn't help but buy one even though we had already bought prime rib for Thanksgiving.

The price of turkeys has dropped a long way since last year. Thank you Trump.

The overall cost of a Thanksgiving dinner, depending on which source you want to believe, is somewhere between 5 and 20% higher this year than last. That's a fair assessment based on all the sides, beverages, etc., and not just on the price of turkey.

Yeah, in your right-wing fantasy world. In fact, costs have dropped. You do not need facts. If it is bad for Biden, you believe oy due to your right-wing blinders. Truth means nothing to you.
