Fulton County schools want to pay students to stay in school a little longer.

Forty students from Creekside High and Bear Creek Middle schools in Fairburn will be the first to try the "Learn & Earn" program, where students will get paid to attend after-school tutoring programs.

I have no problems with this.

Really? What message does it send to children who are learning? Don't you think those who work hard and learn should be the ones rewarded?

Don't you think kids will pretend to be stupid so they can get into the after school pay-to-learn program?

Seems pretty ripe for abuse.
