It isn't so much the event which is newsworthy, horrific though it is. We are all used to the appalling brutalities of the Israeli Jewish scum hiding behind US support.
It's the fact that it's front-page news on the BBC.

I find it sad HAMAS and his fellow Pallys left this mentally challenged guy to fend for himself.

Most likely he was the most innocent Palestinian possible.
