Gaza Strip follies; Iron dome doomed.

Shaken, not stirred!
Here's a little tidbit in perspective of what you normally get through the MSM and right wing punditry/media with regards to the latest happenings regarding Israel, the Gaza Strip, Palestinians and now Iran. Take some time to listen to the entire thing, because it's an eye opener!

Dorn is a dork. To expect any system to be 100% effective is absurd. The Soviets spent roughly 10% of their GDP for years building the S-25 Berkut air defense system around Moscow. It was never tested. The design was supposed to be able to stop a 1000 bomber raid of the sort the US and Britain unleashed on Germany in WW 2. More likely, it would have only made such raids cost prohibitive.

The same thing goes with Israel and the Iraqi drone / missile attacks. If Israel can afford to counter such strikes repeatedly at the level of effectiveness they did with this one, and the Iranians cannot mount repeated attacks using the weapons they did on a sustained basis, Israel won. They decisively defeated the Iranian offensive.
That is to say, if Iran cannot do significant damage to Israel even at significant cost to their economy, while Israel can do significant damage to Iranian attacks at an insignificant cost to their economy, then Iran loses.

A few drones or missiles hitting what are random (read that as economically and politically insignificant) targets in Israel but cannot do this repeatedly because they simply can't build enough drones or missiles then Israel wins.

The Iranians claim significant damage, while Israel claims little or none. In the age of the Internet and Israel--unlike Iran--having pretty much open access to it, there'd be pictures up in short order to validate Iranian claims. There are none because the Iranian attacks were ineffective. That Iran claims otherwise sounds like Japan or Germany in late 1944 claiming they're still winning the war, or this guy in Iraq:

Stop blowing smoke. The bottom line was that the USA and Israel sold the "Iron Dome" as the be all, end all defensive system. Ritter systematically explains why that is false, and why the Iranians now have the upper hand in retaliatory missile strikes.

What you're doing is ignoring what is being presented as FACT in favor of sheer conjecture and supposition. We don't know what those five missiles that we saw on the vid (maybe there were more) hit exactly, and won't know until further reports come in. Bottom line: Yahoo is a threat to his own people and to the region....a fanatical, corrupt egotist who but for this whole incident would have seen himself and the Likund party thrown out on their butts by the people. Hell, that may still happen.

Dore is not infallible or my favorite comedian/talking head...but every so often he is dead on target....as is Ritter. Deal with it.

The Iron Dome is incredibly effective. It shoots down like 95 to 98% of targets engaged. The stuff the Russians are using in Ukraine are about 50 to 60% effective. That the Iranians launched over 300 ballistic missiles and drones on Israel and something less than a dozen actually hit the country is absolutely magnificent for an air defense system. Iran can't keep that up for long before the cost gets prohibitive while the cost for the Israeli's isn't prohibitive to shoot it all down.

Yes it was a bloody miracle, the usual Marxist cunts are besides themselves with grief.

1.3 billion dollars in just a few hours the Zionists ate....to deal with something like the 60 million Iran spent...

This is not sustainable.

Its not just the money......China Bloc is out producing the collective West in arms something like 10-1...and their stuff tends to be better than our stuff.

This is a big MotherFucking problem.

:palm: That was with a few hours of a heads up from Iran. Imagine if they decided not to announce what's coming, when and where? The type of missiles they are using are designed to penetrate the Iron Dome. And we're not discussing Russia/Ukraine (different armament, defense/offense, terrain, etc.) Again, you steadfastly want to ignore what Ritter is saying in favor of your personal supposition and conjecture. Bottom line: insipid stubbornness regarding AIPAC propaganda doesn't cut it anymore.

You truly are an ill-informed idiot on this. One of the systems complementing Iron Dome is Raytheon's Patriot SAM system. This missile system handles ballistic missiles of the tactical, SRBM, and IRBM types quite easily. Iron Dome is mostly for short-range unguided rockets and slow moving (eg., subsonic) drones. Raytheon's Israeli R&D facilities worked closely with their US counterparts to develop those weapons.

Russia and Ukraine lack the level of skilled manpower Israel uses as both rely heavily on draftees and impressed troops. The majority of their systems are of Russian origin and not on the same level as the US and US derived ones the Israelis are using.

Given that the US has troops in Syria, and Syria as well as Iraq aren't going to be exactly happy with Iran shooting missiles and sending drones over their sovereign territory, the Israelis are going to always get some warning regardless of whether Iran gives them any or not.

So, what one person's opinions on this are is largely irrelevant. The consensus is that Israel has a very competent and technically advanced air defense system while Iran is using one that is largely second rate manned by marginally competent troops. Remember their shooting down an airliner taking off from the civilian international airport in Teran shortly after they launched some ballistic missiles against US forces in Iraq?

Iran has little in the way of a professional military but rather has one that is largely composed of iffy politically and religiously chosen officers, unmotivated conscripts, and a smattering of what might be described as the modern-day equivalent of knights. It's all on a 19th century level of competence.

Again, you keep using supposition and conjecture to bolster your failed premise. Ritter explains IN DETAIL why the Iron Dome is seriously compromised with the type of missiles used by Iran. YOU IGNORE THAT COMPLETELY. Bottom line: Russia DOES NOT have the Iron Dome system. The current countries that do are America, Israel, North and South Korea, Azerbaijan (go figure). India, Cyprus, Romania, Hungary are interested in getting it (from what I know in the last 3 years).

Running off the rails with all you opinion driven speculative scenarios and subsequent name calling of me won't make you clap trap any less absurd. Carry on.

Russia and Chinas anti=air systems are about two generations ahead of the best that the West has....and they have hypersonics which we dont and may not have for a long time given the performance of the F-35 and our new aircraft carriers...both shit. And dont forget about all those new weapon systems that have been cancelled in recent year either because we cant do it or we cant do it at a price even the spend like drunken sailor Washington traitors will tolerate.

The West is not remotely prepared to go to war with China Bloc...neither in kit or quality of the troops or quality of the leadership are we even remotely ready for war with China Bloc......but notice how the children of washington are determined to take us there...

Stuuuuuupid......which is painful in this particular universe.
