WASHINGTON (AP) - Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich acknowledged he was having an extramarital affair even as he led the charge against President Clinton over the Monica Lewinsky affair, he acknowledged in an interview with a conservative Christian group.

I fondly remember when Dixie was pontificating that he would consider a person who cheated on their wife, and forsake their vows to God to be a person of questionable moral fiber, and likely unfit for the presidency.

This was, of course, in the same thread that Dixie said he could support Newt for the GOP nomination.
