does not really matter which party, they both have their corrupt members

the talking heads are have fun chewing up air time speculating as to whether the gov or l gov will appoint a replacement for bho's senate seat

corrupt politicians suck and when they are caught everyone loses

oh well, the cons on the board get to have fun until the next rep gets caught

seems to be the nature of the beast to gloat over someone else's bad behavior :(
 
This guy came into office claiming to be a 'reformer' after their last Governor got thrown in jail. Let's see if we can go for three in a row with the next Gov.

Selling the Senate seat was one of many misdeeds of Blagojevich. The stuff relating to the Senate seat begins at around paragraph 86 of the supporting affidavit. It's fairly juicy stuff and provided the taped calls have been transcribed correctly he is doomed (even though the charge against his is rather bizarre - conspiracy to commit fraud against the people of Illinois through the theft of honest services).
