Rep. Don Bacon of Nebraska, a swing district Republican, decried the continued GOP leadership fight.

Bacon said some of his GOP colleagues "would prefer" to be in the minority in the US House.

While speaking with CNN last week, Republican Rep. Don Bacon of Nebraska said that the conservative hardliners who set off the leadership fight aren't concerned about holding the House, which the GOP controls by a slim 221-212 margin.

Here's hoping those GOP members get their wish. They realize they can't govern.

Even when we have both chambers of Congress and the White House,

we never have the 59 votes plus Veep that we need with the senate filibuster.

Then there's been the Sinema and Manchin problem of phony Democrats on our side of the aisle.

In that our polarization appears permanent,
and bi-partisan votes are and will be as rare as three digit IQs in red states,
the form of government that our constitution gave us
is designed for gridlock. To the founders' "credit," it "works" as designed.

We have literally the least efficient government on the face of the planet,
and libertarians actually celebrate the fact.

They'll really be happy when we have perfect anarchy.

Oh, I forgot to mention that we won't have the SCOTUS for a long, long time either,
thanks to the pigfucking orangutan
and the idiot senators who confirmed his horrific choices.

Hawkeye10 might actually be overoptimistic about our future.

He's politalker compared to me.
